o1 4-Band EQ for precise control: The 4-Band EQ on each channel – inherited from the DJM-V10 – enables detailed control over the frequencies so you can sculpt the sound you want.
o2 60-mm long-throw faders for smooth, natural mixing: With a 60-mm long-throw fader on each channel, which comes from the DJM-V10-LF, you can precisely control the blend when layering multiple sounds. The newly developed Soft Mix Curve gently reduces high frequencies as you start raising the fader when mixing in the next track, delivering smoother and more natural transitions.
o3 6 Send FX types for expanded expression: Choose from 6 Send FX – Short Delay, Reverb, Shimmer, Tape Echo, PingPong, and Echo-Verb – to apply intuitively from the dedicated send knob on each channel. The time knob adapts to each effect, combining BPM-synced operation with smooth time adjustment for precise effect control.
o4 3 filter types: As well as low and high-pass filters, the DJM-V5 features a new cross-pass filter. By preserving low-end energy while shaping the mid and high frequencies, it makes musical phrases stand out without disrupting the groove.
o5 SonicLink support: With a built-in SonicLink transmitter, the DJM-V5 supports ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring. Simple pairing options – via a button press or NFC touch-based pairing with compatible equipment – allow for a clean, cable-free monitoring environment where sound and control stay seamlessly connected.

Refined sound design

The mixer’s entire signal path, including the analog circuitry, has been fine tuned to deliver a high-resolution warm sound.
High-quality converters are used from analog-to-digital through digital-to-analog, ensuring consistent sound across the master, booth, send, and REC outputs.
The return input also features high-grade conversion to minimize sound degradation when using external effects, with tuning refined through extensive testing to align with the sound character of the DJM-V10.

PRO DJ LINK / Link Cue – a seamless flow from preparation to play

Thanks to PRO DJ LINK support, the DJM-V5 seamlessly connects to the CDJ-3000X, CDJ-3000, and rekordbox, enabling precise, BPM-synced effects control.
This means you can add texture to the music at exactly the right moment and refine your mix.

With Link Cue, you can preview tracks without loading them, and touch the full waveform of the currently playing track to listen to upcoming sections.
A dedicated volume knob for cueing ensures a smooth process from track preparation to playback.
Seamless integration with rekordbox and Serato

Using a USB Type-C connection to a PC or Mac, the DJM-V5 integrates seamlessly with rekordbox for Mac/Windows and Serato DJ Pro.
With support for a wide range of DJ styles, including DVS, it’s easy to create a smooth and flexible workflow.
*Serato DJ Pro license not included. To use DVS mode in Serato, a Serato DJ Suite license is required.

Flexible connectivity for a wide range of performance styles

The MULTI I/O compatible USB Type-C terminal supports iPhone and iPad connections, enabling you to use the mixer with the DJM-REC and RMX-1000 for iPad apps, as well as external effectors such as the RMX-IGNITE, via a single USB cable.

Insert support for external effectors enables flexible equipment configurations for club performances and streaming, as well as recording.
