OMNIS-DUO selected as a finalist in the International Design Excellence Awards
The first product released under the AlphaTheta brand name, the OMNIS-DUO portable all-in-one DJ system, has been selected as a finalist in the product design category of the prestigious International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA).
The OMNIS-DUO combines the freedom to enjoy music anywhere with professional-level performance capabilities. Its compact size and lightweight design mean it can be carried with one hand and slotted into a backpack, so DJs can perform in all kinds of places and scenarios, such as outdoor events and parties with friends. The deep indigo color, which was inspired by denim, and the simple, minimalistic design, help it blend naturally into any environment while always looking sleek.
This is the first time one of our products, including AlphaTheta and Pioneer DJ branded products, has been entered into IDEA and we’re proud it’s been chosen as a finalist. We’re excited to continue making equipment that balances innovative design and advanced functionality to enhance the way people around the world enjoy music.

The IDEA, organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), is one of the world’s most prestigious design awards. Established in 1980, it’s recognized alongside Germany’s Red Dot Design Award and iF Design Award as one of the 3 major global design awards.
