Important update needed for customers using Apple Music with our products
Following recent security enhancements to Apple Music, some versions of rekordbox and firmware for selected AlphaTheta products will not be able to load Apple Music tracks after January 27th, 2026.
If you use one of the affected versions listed below, or any earlier version, please update to the latest release.
◆Versions affected
- rekordbox for Mac/Windows: Ver. 7.1.0 or earlier
- rekordbox for iOS: Ver. 4.4.0 or earlier
- OMNIS-DUO: Ver. 1.21 or earlier
- XDJ-AZ: Ver. 1.21 or earlier
*rekordbox for Android has been supported since Ver. 4.4.0, so no update is required.
● rekordbox for Mac/Windows users
To check your current version:
On Mac: Select [rekordbox] > [About rekordbox].
In Windows: Select [Help] > [About rekordbox].
To update to the latest version: Select [Help] > [rekordbox Update Manager].
● rekordbox for iOS users
To check your current version:
Go to [Settings] > [Support] > [Version Info].
You can download the latest version of rekordbox for iOS for free from the App Store.
● OMNIS-DUO users
To check your current version:
Touch [Info] on the [UTILITY] screen, and the [Version No.] will be displayed.
The OMNIS-DUO also supports network updates.
When connected to a Wi-Fi network, the message “New Firmware (X.XX) Available” will appear on the right side of the screen.
Touch “New Firmware (X.XX) Available” to start the update.

● XDJ-AZ users
