Terms and Conditions:
AlphaTheta ADE Tech Treasure Hunt
(the “Tech Treasure Hunt”)

Promoter: AlphaTheta EMEA Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 9230173 whose registered office is at Unit 39, Tileyard Studios, Tileyard Road, London, N7 9AH, UK (“Promoter”).

  1. The Tech Treasure Hunt is open to participants aged 18 years or over who are resident in the UK or EU countries where those countries laws do not prohibit such a promotion. Employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Tech Treasure Hunt are not eligible to participate.
  2. The Tech Treasure Hunt is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  3. Participants must locate five (5) miniature Promoter products (“The Tech Treasure”) which are hidden within the AlphaTheta Zone at the gallery within the art’otel, Amsterdam and public access areas within the site. Upon finding each of the five (5) Tech Treasures, participants must scan each of the corresponding QR codes, follow the instructions and properly complete the corresponding form. When submitting each form, the participants data must be consistent using the same name and email address. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this Promotion.
  4. Prize 1 is one set up consisting of two (2) CDJ-3000 DJ players, one (1) DJM-A9 DJ mixer and two (2) VM-70 speakers. Prize 2 to 11 is a DDJ-FLX4 controller.
  5. The winner of prize 1 will be the first participant to find, scan and properly complete the form for all five (5) Tech Treasures in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  6. The winners of prize 2 to 11, will be the second to eleventh participants randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  7. The opening date for entries is 09:00 CEST on Wednesday 16th October 2024. The closing date is midday CEST on Friday 18th of October 2024. Entries received by the Promoter after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.
  8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  9. If the QR code does not work, it is the Participants’ responsibility to immediately contact the Promoter to bring this to their attention.
  10. The winners will be notified by email (using the email submitted in their entry) by 23.10.24. If a selected winner does not respond to the notification within 28 days, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process identified above (and that winner will also have 28 days to respond to their notification).
  11. The relevant prize will be sent to the winner by post within 60 days of the winner responding to the notification of their win. The winner is responsible for ensuring they provide the correct delivery address for their prize and that someone is available to receive the prize.
  12. Participants may only submit one entry to this promotion. All other entries will be void.
  13. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  15. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  16. Winners agree that the Promoter may publicise the promotion and the winners’ success with no further recompense.
  17. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails exec.eu@alphatheta.com or writes to Unit 39, Tileyard Studios, Tileyard Road, London, N7 9AH, England (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 7. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at exec.eu@alphatheta.com as soon as possible after submitting your entry. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority or any equivalent authority on request.
  18. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  20. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize  or the entrant failing to respond and claim their Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  21. By entering, participants consent to the processing of their personal data. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be found at https://alphatheta.com/en/company/privacy-policy/. See also condition 17 with regard to the announcement of winners.
  22. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in any entry, but the entrant will grant the Promoter a licence to use it for all purposes connected to this Promotion, including publishing any winning entries on social media. The entrant is not entitled to any fees for granting the licence and is not entitled to terminate it unless the Promoter agrees in writing.
  23. Any tax due or payable on any prizes or their value shall be the sole responsibility of the relevant winner and the Promoter accepts no responsibility in respect of such taxes or any related filings.
  24. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
