DDJ-FLX2 and DDJ-FLX4 support Native Instruments’ new DJ software Traktor Play

Two AlphaTheta DJ controllers, the DDJ-FLX2 and DDJ-FLX4, are compatible with Traktor Play, the new DJ software from Native Instruments. With this support, it’s possible to use the DDJ-FLX2 or DDJ-FLX4 with Traktor Play at no extra cost, making it easier than ever to start DJing.

Traktor Play is a new streamlined DJ application from Native Instruments, designed to make DJing more accessible while still delivering the sound quality and creative tools the Traktor brand is known for. The software includes essential DJ functions such as EQs and effects, as well as the Stems feature and streaming preview functionality from Beatport Streaming. This makes it a versatile tool for both beginners and experienced DJs.
Traktor Play will be available in early November.

On the new support for the software, Yoshinori Kataoka, CEO of AlphaTheta said: “At AlphaTheta, we want DJs to have the freedom to choose the tools that inspire them. Supporting Traktor Play with our DDJ-FLX2 and DDJ-FLX4 opens new creative possibilities and makes DJing even more accessible.”

AlphaTheta will continue to work with software and service providers to create an open environment where DJs can freely express their own unique styles.
